Meet the Captains
Both Captain D and Rick are U.S. Coast Guard licensed and fully insured and have a deep love for the waters of Manatee County, where they grew up. Captain Ricky grew up fishing for mullet in these local waters,. They even spent six years creating a delightful food truck that serves the mullet they catch, along with other fresh, local fish. Recently, they decided to hand the family business over to their nephew, ensuring the tradition lives on. Driven by their passion for the water and the environment, Together, Rick and D launched Day Trippin Boat Tours, where their excitement shines as they share the stunning beauty of the area’s waters and wildlife with everyone.
